03 — Process
From brief to issued set, with the checkpoints drawn in.
The step most outsourcing goes wrong at is the third one. Agreeing the
setout before anything is drawn is what stops a package arriving in the
wrong template, on the wrong layers, at the wrong LOD.
Brief
Tell us the disciplines, project type, rough sheet count and the date
you need it. A drawing register or a marked-up architectural is plenty.
Same-day response
Fixed quote
A fixed fee against a named sheet list, with the programme and the
revision allowance written into it. Not an hourly estimate that moves.

Setout
We agree the datum before a line is drawn: your Revit template, title
block, shared coordinates, worksets, layer and naming standard to
AS 1100.301, and the LOD each element is modelled to. Signed off in
writing. It is the step most offshore work skips.
Model & document
Discipline models built, services sized, sheets composed against the
agreed register. Progress models issued at agreed milestones so you are
never waiting on a black box.
Internal QA
A named reviewer who did not draw the set checks it against a written
checklist: the relevant Australian Standard, the NCC provisions, the
drawing standard, and the brief. The checklist is issued with the set.
Coordination & clash
Federated model, clash detection run across disciplines and against the
architectural and structural models you provide. You get the clash
report, not just a clean-looking drawing.
Engineer of record review
Your registered engineer reviews and certifies. We supply the models,
calculations and design summary in the form they ask for, and we action
their comments at no cost within the revision allowance.
Currently via your engineer — our own registered review arrangement is being set up
Issue
Native files, PDF set, clash report, schedules, calculation summary and
the QA checklist. Revisions clouded and scheduled. Files are yours
outright on final payment.
